s5 swapp from hell! please help!!
i have a 91 vert and i'm swapping the mottor for a turbo s5 but its been the swap from hell! motor, trany, drive shaft, dif , and axial all turbo II s5 are in... the engine is JDM and i used the na wiring harness. I also eliminated the rats nest EVERY THING! i plugged most of the vacuums.
know the problem that i have i belive it to be electrical but for what ever resion i am not getting any spark. from the lead or the trails. i know that coil packs are good cuz the car was running na 5 days ago. also the lights come up slower and one will come up first then the other????????????????? the dash lights work sometimes... and if i hit the breaks inside lights go on and the dash lights too?????????????but what ever im getting no spark and thats the only thing thats keeping this car from running.. so what do you guys think?? o yeah I tryd Using the N/a computer and the JDM turbo motor no difference.. thanks

Recheck your grounding points, if you used the stock n/a harness to mate to the s5 TII engine, you probably didn't have to modify it much except extend a few wires and I think re-pin a few wires at the ecu connection.

Besides that, I see no reason if you didn't extremely modify the harness why the engine shouldn't run, unless you are using the J-Spec ECU which won't work unless you do some research. I think the conclusion was you are better off using a USDM S5 TII ECU.
If you search for TII swap or something similar a lot of the guys talk about what's involved in the n/a harness modification for this particular swap and how the JDM ecu won't work without some research.
