S5 and S4 TB and TPS differences.
OK well I've got a S4 with all the wiring and ECU's and stuff and just got a S5 Jspec.
From what I understand I can drop the eing ein and use my harness and everything but the Injectors have to be switched over to S4's and the TPS is Dual Barrel on the S5.
Soooo. Can I still use the S5 Throtttle body and just get a S4 TPS or do I have to get both? Is there a way to mod the Dual TPS to work on the S4 harness or is it too much work?
Will everything else hook up to the engine? I plan to swap the front cover but want to make sure the LIM/UIM and so on will still be fine.
Thx.

All the sensors between S4 and S5 are different. Injectors as well.
Best bet is to just use the S5 long block and turbo, then use the S4 intake and associated stuff.

I'm doing a TII conversion so I don't have that.
I am getting S4 injectors but haven't gotten a throttle body yet.
Since it's dual TPS I'm guessing I'll have to get the S4 one as well.
Kevin of RotaryResurrection said that there are extra cams(or somthing like this) on the S5 TB.

You can put the S4 TPS on the S5 throttle body easily. Just bolts right up. Be aware that the coolant temp sensor below the oil pressure sensor is different. S4 won't fit in S5 block, S5 has different plug. If you change the plug, it will work, but your guage will read slightly low.

I already have everything for a S4 conversion since I ordered a S4 block but got the S5 by accident.
SO i already have the N333 ecu and S4 harness. That and I can't remember but I don't think a S4 interioir harness will attach to the S5 stuff.
I tlooks like the TB is different because it has an extra cam for the dual TPS. the injector plugs are different from what I heard too.

Damn that sucks, I already have the S4 setup too since the 88 vert. uses a turbo capable ECU. But I guess the S5 means it's a newer motor, and has lighter rotors, a little more power, etc. I am trying to see the bright side of it.
Water temp gauge sensor right next to the oil pressure sensor is different - bullet type on Zenki, and spade type on Kouki.
I think the water thermo sensor in the back of the water pump housing is different too...?

Well I have a NA 88 GTU engine with bad coolant seals so I can grab any extra parts off that since I'm trading the block for a tranny and keeping the rest.
I'm hoping everything will connect correctly with out modding more than what I've listed.
