S5 no start! HELP
i purchased this car with a smoky motor but thought it was well worth it due to price and car is in excellent shape actually the cleanest fc I've seen in a while.
any how when i got it the car had a fuel pump problem as well it would have trouble starting due to low fuel pressure. i swapped out the pump with a used s4 tII one and it went out after a couple of days of driving the car so i swapped another again and was also a used one and it went out again so im wondering what would cause the pump to keep going out?
i just finished swapping a new motor into it and replaced the fuel pump but now the car wont start
fuel pressure while cranking is about 30psi and when i let go of the key it jumps to 40 then back down to about 10 then slowly to 0
there is spark going to all 4 spark plugs
car was running fine before i pulled the motor out except fuel pump had just gone out but i just replaced it with another used one. i dont want to buy a new one yet til i figure out why they keep going out?
any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks
