CA S5 NA Engaging Actuators without Smog Pump

Hey guys,

So I have a 91 NA that is street ported and I'm using turbo 2 exhaust sleeves which were also ported. I had a block off plate installed and got rid of the smog pump. After a day at the dyno I became aware that the 5 and 6th port actuators are not engaging because I no longer have a smog pump. Is there an alternate way to get the actuators to engage correctly? Exhaust wise I'm using a full racing beat exhaust. I also had the Pineapple Racing 6 Port Sleeve inserts installed when the engine was built.

Using the factory smog pump and solenoids the considered the best way to do it. However using a lumbar pump from some fords like a Lincoln MkIIIV will also work if you wish to do suck things.

Do you happen to know if there is a write for that? I don't have the smog pump anymore. That has been long gone.

Has anyone had an experience with this write up? If so any particular "Aquarium Pumps" you guys recommend?

I'm a little confused as to where the vacuum line "Electric Air Pump" feeds to. The write up and pictures are a little vague. Would it feed directly to a T vacuum connector that would go into the actuators on top of the header?
