You have to either take all the s5 wiring and put in the s4, or do it the easier way and run the s5 engine off the s4 electronics, sensors, throttle body, omp, and figure out a way to actuate the auxiliary ports and the VDI.
Thats a lot of work to gain 14hp though, so I'd suggest to sell the both engines and turbo swap

engine swap
well, i understand what you guys are saying, "14 hp is much", I know.
heres the reason why i asked, my current motor the s4 has a blown coolant seal. I found a guy out here that has a 89s5 with front end damage, but he says it has a rebuilt s5 motor from pinnapple racing with hardly any miles, plus a front clip motor, and trans from a s4 to fix the s5 coupe and a bunch of other parts as well for 800 bucks. He is moving and cant take it, well its actually his son's car that is in the marines.
and right now its going to cost me around 600 bucks to have a local guy replace the soft seals and put it back together, so i figured why not spend a couple hundered bucks more and have 2 engines and trans plus a whole nother s5 and take both motors and part out the wrecked body...
so thats the reason ive asked on the swap and trust me i would love to turbo swap and sell all the rest of whats left!
so what side if the wiring harness needs to go? drivers side or the passengers side or both?

My advice: buy the S5. Remove the S4 from your car. Put the all the S4 stuff onto the S5 keg-intake manifolds, front cover, omp, water pump etc. All that stuff has to be removed from the S4 to rebuild it anyway.
Oh, yeah, you will need to use the S5 flywheel with the S5 keg to keep it properly balanced.
When you are through, you will have an S4 car with s4 engine with S5 internals. Everything will work with nothing complicated. You will have a little higher compression so the car should be a little more responsive.
Anyone else feel free to add anything to the list that I left out.
BTW, this is exactly what Nate91242 said to do. You weren't getting any more answers because there was nothing left to say. I just said it in a little different manner.
Good Luck!
