Hey Guys, I'm just about finished assembling a motor to go back in a car and I'm kinda stumped on this one vacume line. I dont have another S5 N/A around to look off of either.

Anyways its the large vacume tube that comes off the accelerated warm up solinoid, ity routes behind the intake but not sure where to hook it up to?
Into the rubber intake pipe? ACV? Air pump?

LOL the car has been apart for a while and cant remember where it goes

 

The bottom end will connect to an "L" on the bottom of the plastic intake duct.

The fuel & emmissions section of the manual has some good illustrations.
I have a copy at the link in my sig.

 

Yeah I searched the FSM...it definatly didn't show any pics of that hose.

 

They only show the top end of the hose on page 4.
It plugs into the middle of the dynamic chamber.

 

Check out my pile-o-pics... I'm sure there's one of that hose in there somewhere.

it has to be before the throttle body. i think on the S5 it actually connects to a "T" of some sort. but as long as it goes before the TB it should be fine.
