S5 main harness question

Hi,
I have a 91 n/a and I cannot figure out what one of the connectors on the main harness goes to. The best i can do right now is give a good description of it.

I looking down at the block with the middle manifold off, there are two injector plugs that go to the secondary fuel rail. This connector, comes out the the same part of the harness as those two injector connectors. As it lays on the block, it automatically angles (from its age i guess) toward the back of the alternator. It has like a round plastic cap, and a single connection on the inside, very similar to the o2 sensors looking plug.

Any ideas?

if it is, then it's the line to the temp sending unit on the driver side of the block.

OK...I checked the wire this morning, it is NOT black. The wire is green with a black stripe and has black insulation around it (this insulation is what I mistook for the color earlier).

I will try and post a pic of the connector later today.

That is the water temp sending unit I believe. Well what its called doesnt matter, it plugs into the back of the water pump below the square green connector that is there as well.
