S5 LIM on S4
#5
The model is a FC, being in the second gen forum.
S4 = 1986 to 1988
S5 = 1989 to 1992
Because the motors are all the same for each series (i.e. a 1986 motor is identical to a 1987 motor) the specific year of my car is irrelevant. Though from my post, and sig, you could determine that I have a S4 motor.

^ Thats what some say. Personally, I have used both s4 and s5 lims feeling no difference. Looking at the port runners between the S4 and S5 LIMs, they look identical. . Its not worth all the trouble to keep the S4 LIM unless you need to keep emmisions. You can't use the S5 Lim on a S4 block with emmisions.

This wont be a problem soon enough, but more for curiosity.
And if I can't use the airpump with the S5 LIM then I have to remove the port sleeves.

Why do you need the S4 LIM to keep emissions?
