S5 Lights Not Fitting Correctly
Hey guys, here's a picture showing what my problem is. I cut the notch and it's not rubbing/hitting against that part but for some reason the lights aren't fitting quite correctly. I attached pictures to this post... I have no webspace to upload the pics. Can anybody help me?

you made sure the lights were pushed in all the way with the nuts on good. i forget because i used the s5 license piece with my lights but are you using the s4 license piece? i never tried the s4 center piece so i don't know if it could cause the lights to stick out like that.
i just bent my metal piece, no cutting. its a little tight but doesn't stick out like that.

well I found the problem after I took them off and examined them. Whoever had them before has unsnapped them and never snapped it back into place they just used strong double-sided stick tape.

yea snapped. Not to the body, it's off the body now, the light itself comes apart in halfs and is held together the same way the fog/high beams are, with that tab system or whatever. Someone before me had them and took them apart and didn't put them back together correctly So I basiclly couldn't get them back together at all, so I'm using a bunch of vice grips and a ton of Gorilla Glue . Seems to be working good so far. I'll get pics up when it's fixed.

*shakes head* no guys I'm not talking about mounting it to the body, I'm talking about the light itself. Take the light off the body and look at it, it's 2 different pieces SNAPPED together, the outter part (the part you acually see outside the car) and the inner part (the part that holds all the bulbs). Someone took them apart to look at the insides of the light housing or something and didn't SNAP the halfs back together. Mounting to the body is perfect.
