S5 intake manifold on a s4 engine? N/A's

Is this a very extensive process? (r there other parts required to make this work). I've taken my manifold off before and it wasn't much work, so if this makes any power then maybe I'll do it. How much power will this swap make? what's the difference between the two manifolds? thanks for any help.

I'm in the process of doing it right now. Here is a write-up on it.

Thanks for the info looks like a good street porting on the S4 will yeild better results than the conversion. anyone got info on porting the s4 intake?

Are you talking about better results with porting the S4 engine or manifolds? I would think that the manifold conversion (and porting the manifold) along with porting the motor would yeild better results that porting the motor and S4 manifolds.

Just a thought

That's what I thought about doing in the first place but a few people have posted that the runners on the S5 manifold are too long and narrow for anything more than a mild street port. I need to do more research on this though. I live right down the street from Pinapple Racing so I'll just call Rob and see what he says.
