S5 hazards flash/ no crank sometimes
Required a s4 to s5 everything. Every once in a while after turning off my car I'll hear a beep from the gauge cluster. After putting the key to ignition on, the hazards will flash and the car won't crank.
I still have the s4 ignition switch so only main connections are hooked up leaving two smaller connectors with smaller wires unattached. Any help appreciated

The hazards flash w/key to on only sometimes? If the car will not crank only in the times the hazards are acting up then perhaps the alarm system is preventing the car from doing so. If you have the starter cut relay then it can be bypassed by jumpering the thicker of the two Black/Green wires to the Black/Blue wire. You can bypass this relay when the starter won't engage to see if the alarm..... is responsible.

That is the factory alarm going off, but the S5 cpu is such a piece of garbage the horn isn't honking.
You can disarm the alarm by grounding the light green/black wire at the cpu. I am not at work right now so I cannot tell you which connector or pin number for that wire.
