s5 gxl; adjusting suspention with button?
s5 gxl; adjusting suspention with button?
so how does this work, i have 2 buttons in front of the on the center conpartment(stock) that reads; "normal" and "sport." I dont feel any difference. anyone can explain this to better understand the purpose of these buttons?
Those buttons are supposed to control a little valve in the shocks that change the damper settings.
The "normal" button is for the ride to work, and the "sport" settings stiffen up the shock for aggressive driving.
However, on most car they don't work by now anyways, and there is a good chance the shocks have been replaced by something after market. My car came with tokico dampers, so i can't report firsthand, but from what I understand its a bit of a gimmick and you are better off with a good after market unit.

Mine don't work 'cause my shocks are completely blown!
(My rear wheel steering wants to kill me!! Lol...) I've been wondering for some time though if there was a shock out there somewhere that would allow for the function of the AAS system... Anyone know?
