s5 gtus trans vs s5 trans?

s5 gtus trans vs s5 trans?

Ive searched so just gimme a yes or no on this one :P

Are they the same transmission? is does the gtu-s trans still have the horrible NA input shafts etc..

Same. If you are going to be putting that much power through the drive train, it's time for a TII upgrade.

I may be wrong, but I thought it was a T II trans with diffrent gear ratios.

No, i also made an error, GTUs transmission is the same as any other s5 na 5 speed trans.

Because it says it's different in various locations. The docs I got with my car say it's got a .719, and various other books I have that say so, other places say it's otherwise.

on specail ratio i hear in the GTUS is the rear. its suppose to be a 4.30
