S5 GTU vs S5 TurboII steering wheel

Are they the same? I had a '90 TurboII and liked the steering wheel on it, had an '87 TurboII and *hated* the wheel. Is the S5 GTU and S5 TurboII the same exact steering wheel? I know the TurboII is leather (or I think it is anyhow), I know it's a MOMO wheel.

nevermind, answered my own question... the MOMO wheel was only on the TurboII's, the others were leather, but not MOMO.

the tii wheel was MOMO? thats new to me....

the s5 tii and coupe wheels are slightly different. both are 3 spoke but the center of the gxl/coupe wheel is a little smaller and made of a softer plastic than the tii wheel, both have MAZDA, not MOMO embossed on them. im not sure about s4's....

not even worth thinking about swaping unless something is wrong with yours. come on.

I went with a S4 GXL leather wheel in my S5 GTU. The feel of leather is nicer thhan the rotting plastic.

Hah, I hear ya on the rotting plastic part. The front of my wheel looks pretty damn good, but the back of the top portion is getting pretty crusty.
