odd question though. In my 91 n/a FC the voltage meter on the dash reads a little above 12 while my digital voltage meter say 12.65 @ the battery and this is with the ign. on. What would cause an inaccurate reading on the dash? any ideas?

 

12.65 IS a little above 12... should be more like 13.5-14 with the car running though

I have a question. What is the tick mark 1/3rd the way up the voltmeter represent? 13.6?

 

there is a voltage drop from the battery itself to the gauge. It's going to read lower.

 

After a series of electrical problems you forget what 12.5volts looks like. This is with the car NOT on but the ign position on. Thanks
