S5 conversion or stripping to blocks and switching components?
S5 conversion or stripping to blocks and switching components?
which would be easier? stripping an s4 and an s5 to the blocks, putting all gear on good s5 block and putting together or converting the car to S5 with complete motor already together? get what i am saying?
thats my first option with buying a $400 running S5 motor
or
$1500 for landers to rebuild and street-port my s4 motor
please, only real answer with people who have done both, no 16 year old "say what I think" answers

I would personaly have Kevin Rebuild it.
Anyhow to swap the S5 block on.
The only real concern here is the OMP. Swap the S4 front cover over to the S5, or premix.
Swap the injectors from the S4 over if your S4 harness is a -87.5
Swap the TB over as well and wire up a RPM switch to the VDI and you get the added bonus of the S5 VDI "SAFCII V-tec" will control the VDI if you want.
