Loud banging noise.. Half shafts/differential?

hey guys.

I recently bought this TII, and there's been a loud bang when you get going (only when going forward, not in reverse) and everytime you shift gears (when you depress the clutch, and later when you start going in the next gear). I figured it was the u joints, so I got a new driveshaft and put it in today.

Didn't fix it. it's still banging (haha, i made a funny). It's definitely coming from the rear, I'm hoping it might just be a half shaft. I don't want to have to put a new differential in.

I know it's hard to draw conclusions from just this info without actually getting under the car, but do you think I'm on the right track when I say it's the differential or the half shafts?

Let me know if you need more details or anything.

Thanks a bunch
