i can. you do NOT need to swap the harness. You can swap the front cover, and all other s5 peripherials. Just bolt them on the s4 motor. Use the S5 injectors, turbo, UIM, LIM... There are a couple sensors that will need to be stripped and rewired to fit... like the o2 sensor for example.

If you go ahead with the swap, just post any issues you run into, or PM me with them and I'll help you out.

I never said it needed to be done, just something I would rather not mess with

well than why post here? This guy does want to 'mess with it', and there is plenty of knowledge on this forum to do it.

it's no worse than putting all the peripherials on ANY MOTOR... If you are prepared to take a short block and install, then you are in for no worse of a headache by having an S4 motor going into an S5.

Maybe be you would do it becasue you are making the best of the resources you have at your disposal.

Something tells me you are not too bright. /life

Something tells me you have some serious emotional problems if you're bitching because I would do something differently than you. Next time you want to be an opinion/post ****, go look in the mirror and remember it's never too late to go to the clinic and ask them to abort you

whos bitching? ... your the one using all the vulgar language.

Your posts haven't added anything to the value of this thread. you are the one posting things that are clearly gerneralized opinions that could be 'copy and pasted' in to every thread on the board.

I wouldn't even bother. Get an S4 harness.
insightful!!! how helpful.

just something I would rather not mess with
well in that case, let's hear what you have to say about this project that 'you'd rather not mess with'.

Have you swapped an S4 motor into an S5? Have you put an S4 motor into an S4? I would guess no, because, AGAIN, your posts are general, blanket statements that offer no aid to the OP's problem.
