Hi all,

Last fall, i buy a new rx7. This on is a S5 one. I have a S4 also. When i buy it, the car have the bouncing idle problem. So i pay the car a ridiculous price.

Now i have time to play with it and try to put the car on the right track.

As far as i dig the problem, i came out with vaccum problem.

1 around the TB, some hoses, but the biggest one was on the ULIM near the bolt at complete back of the motor. So i descide to remove all the intake stuff and get the ULIM welded. Ha Ha !!!! what a surprise.

I got a block off plate under the ULIM. So I have an S4 block. I say **** what the hell is this.

Here the part that is mesed:

S5 car
S5 ECU
S4 Block
S5 LIM
S5 ULIM
s5 UIM
S4 TB
S5 MAF

Now the question

Is it a viable setup ?

Is it possible to use the 6 port and the VDI with this setup ? without using RPM swich and so on ?

If the answer is no, should i remove all the emission stuff ?

i see many write up but to put the S5 UIM in a S4 car. But see nothing about the S4 motor in a S5 car.
