s5 bumper fitment, anyone tried this
Hey i had a s5 bumper on my s4 for a while but as we all know it does not fit exactly. So i had the idea of drilling new mounting holes above the existing ones and reattaching it. Ill just measure the amount the bumper needs to be raised and then drill approprieately. Has anyone tried this? is there a better way? is it likely I will fvck up my fenders?
Thanks aofr any criticism.

well if you have ever seen a s4 car with a s5 bumper you would know that the bumper is lower than the hood/fenders but approx 1/4 inch. This is is not sexy, your car looks like its falling apart. There is a difference between wastign time/money on looking good and spending time/money on not looking retarted and broken.
I don't understand why some people are having a difficult time installing an S5 front to an S4??? Mine fit perfectly. No gaps.
I'll take a picture when I can.
The only thing I had to do was trim the brake ducts and front vertical piece at the opening.
Also, I remember there was a black rubber piece that went between the fender and front bumper (between the bolts). This was years ago when I did this so I don't remember if it was on the S5 or S4. I *think* it was on the S4 and when I used that black piece, it left a gap between the bumper and fender. Maybe that's the piece you guys didn't remove???

I have no idea what you're talking about. I've used an S5 fender on an S4 car, and the bumper mounting holes aligned perfectly between the series. If your S5 bumper cover isn't aligning right to your S4 fenders, you have a serious problem.

I have no idea why they're having a hard time. EVERYTHING bolts up in stock location ie. fender/ top 10mm bolts. All you need to do is trim the brake ducts )plastic).
My S5 bumper fit just fine, too... it didn't come with any mounting brackets so I used the S4 brackets.
My stock S4 rear bumper was off for over a month and when I reinstalled it, it would not fit the car. It took me two days to stretch it out so it would fit.

The holes line up but when ti tis screwed on it sits lower than the fenders and hood, if u say ti doesnt your just wrong , i have done it twice on 2 different s4's with same results.
