S5 Belt Issue (about getting it fixed)

I know mazda has to fix it for free as its a safety issue.
  1. My driver side belt clip broke off into pieces
  2. I have no radio

With the above would mazda still have to fix it? The radio wireing isn't in the harness anymore its all wires taped up neat waiting for a new deck. The driver side belt cable is now coming out with this nice graphite looking grease that loves my clothes thus I'd like to get it fixed but I don't wanna be given the run around by mazda.

Also by belt clip I mean the part that lets you remove the belt lol some jackass was in my car wrapped the belt around himself then tried to move when it locked ended up breaking everything apart now i just got metal

I was thinking they could possibly say the problem is caused by me messing with the electical, never know what kinda bs they can pull =/

So what is it, you go in tell them problem, they order parts, come back they fix? Do they ever commonly break parts? I'd hate to see some of the interior plastics broken don't really trust others with my car.
