Thumbs up S5 Alternator on S4 T2 Install....

Last night I swapped out my original 70 Amp alt from my T2 for a 80 Amp unit out of a 91 NA...I got the following Diagram from you guys and it was very helpful..

The only problem is, if you are doing this swap on a T2, the TMIC is in the way...The main terminal from the alt is almost vertical, which conacts the TMIC nearly directly in the front center and cannot be pivoted...After some Slight massaging (read whacking with a plastic Dead-Blow hammer) I got it to fit just fine..I am not sure if this will hurt my flow, but it was my only option at the time (The car was stuck at work)...Since I have done the swap I have had to do the following:

Turn down the dimmer on my interior lights (they are blindingly bright now)

Turn down the volume on my stereo, because it is louder at the same volume, sounds better, and doesnt dimm my headlights anymore..

The NA and TII '89-91 alternators have different locations for the voltage regulator plug. The NA is on the top side, and the TII is on the back side.
