s5 alternator in an s4

do you have to modify an s5 alternator to work in an s4 or is it just plug n play?

The plug is different... do a search on S5 alternator swap. there are tons of threads covering this

Not only is the plug different, but its sensing circuitry is different too.

hrmm i've been searching for info on this for about an hour now and all i can find are FD alternator threads. anybody got a url for one about the s5?
