Angry Smoke from above turbo, below LIM

The car won't idle, when I turn it off, it smokes from what looks like the turbo but I can't really tell. It's coming from between the turbo and LIM...its an 89 T2. I can't make out the smell of whats burning though. Also, it seems really warm for running for about 15 seconds and the boost gauge isn't reading anything, its just sitting at 0. Not vacuum, not boost. wtf?

I want to say coolant/antifreeze, it doesn't smell like burning oil, but it doesn't really smell like coolant either
