Sureshot's mechanical test method:

Parts: A cheap boost gauge, some vac hose & T's.

To test them, T in a pressure gauge and blow into the tube to check at what pressure they open.
Then route the tube inside with the gage on the end, and do a test drive to see when they open.
This also works for the VDI.

And - if you can't blow hard enough to get them to work, they are either stuck or you need to quit smoking.

Alright I unpluged the hose going to the pressure sensor one again and got the same result. Now where is the six port solenoid at and what does it look like? (I am not real sure because I can't see much in there and the only pic I have seen is a drawing in the FSM) Tell me what it looks like and I will pull the plug off it, when I get the plug off does it matter which side I ground or send the 12v to?
