Ok thanks a lot. And I need to find out where to get a new set of lower grommets because I'm thinking they need2 be replaced since they are old. But I will try disconnecting the throttle cable today and see how that works out. Thanks again everybody.

you can also try putting rtv sealant around the grommets that fit into the injector holes. dont use too much, just a thin layer to seal them. i have done that before and it works fine.

Anyway I took the throttle cable off today and started it an sure enough that was it but it still revvs between 1,500 and 2,000rpm's. And I need to do the timeing but don't know exactly how. I know sad I shouldn't owne a rotary but I love em too much and I'm try'n to learn as much as I can. But yeah the more help the better and thanks again everybody.

Well I borrowed a timeing gun from a friend of mine and got home an sen that it only does advance so I just tried to estimate -5 after top dead center for the yellow mark and -20 (atdc) for red mark. It's still off but the car runs a little more smooth. Still need to figure out why it's revving between 1,500 and 2,000rpm's and why my oil pressure gauge say's my psi is sky high?
