This thread is going to go nowhere fast.

Cliff notes for the OP since he has obviously not dug up the thousands of S4 vs S5 threads from the past.

- S4 has better minor electronics (ex. window switches)
- S4 has a healthier differential (the clutch type LSD is a popular upgrade for FD guys)
- S4 has replaceable balljoints (huge plus)
- S4 has steel sway bar endlinks un like the S5's plastic dogbone pieces of ****

Thats most of the majors. As far as looks of the body and the changes made there between series, its all subjective so debate is useless.

S4 are more reliable, S5 are also built with cheaper materials.

s5 is prettier, but the s4 is more reliable

also, the s5 wastegate is like 2x the size of the s4, which makes it a lot less prone to exploding, which is always a plus.
