S4 Turbo Swap in my 88 vert.

What am I going to need to know? So far, here is what I think...

I think I need to replace the motor with an S4 turbo motor, S4 Turbo Transmission, S4 turbo rear end (or is mine okay? All I know is I have lsd), S4 TII ECU.

Is that all? I want to get all my stuff one at a time, and take everything in to get rebuilt. As far as the motor goes, I'll get new rotor housings and send them in to get ported. I want as much power out of the porting job, as well as reliability. Am I right to assume the periphial port is the way to go? Also, I want to get the wastegate ported at time of rebuild. Thanks for any input.

Even though this has been covered 3008172361897236 times i feel compelled to up my post count. So......

If you have 7 to 10 grand go the way you were gonna go -pp of course. if you dont:

Port the **** out of the wastegate on your "new" decent compression non rebuilt jspec, ebay an n333 ecu, send it out to rtek for a 1.5 chip, use your stock wiring harness to the turbo motor, buy an xtd ebay 6 puck for 148 dollars shipped for the na transmission which you are going to use along with driveshaft, rear and axles,
buy and t2 hood or run an ebay universal frontmount piping "kit" and ebay shitercooler, get the n318 boost sensor, get a t2 throttle cable from atkins, extend a few wires bac and such, and you should be good to go. Probably a little more did the swap last summer so minor details can be found by searching.

yups, na radiator is ok. Nope na trans holds up well. I can be rough sometimes with 9 inch rims out back and so far everyone (trans dshaft axles and rear) is happy after just about a year. I am only at 6lbs though. If you plan on running more boost there may be a remote fraction of a posibility that you might want to step up to the t2 drivetrain. I still dont know though because i was told aaroncake is at some rediculous horespower rating to the wheels and only likes using na ****. 400whp or something like that.
