AZ S4 Turbo Swap emission question

Hey guys, I've been doing research left and right about swapping my S4 engine with a JDM S4 turbo. I've looked up the parts and pricing but the one thing that seems to be missing from everything I've found is how to handle the emissions. I live in AZ so my car needs to pass emissions. Anyone know a guide that would be helpful or anyone with information would be greatly appreciated.

if you put the JDM engine in, with all the stock equipment, it'll pass an emissions test.

and except for the extra solenoid on the ACV, and the EGR (which is useless), the JDM emissions are the same as the US stuff.

The stock turbo emissions or the stock N/A? Is there much of a difference in that aspect?

the T2 emission system is the same globally, for the most part.

I think the only difference in the air pump is the outlet pipe orientation anyways. One is straight out and the other is like 90 degrees?...

the jdm pumps are about half the size of the USDM smog pumps, i never tried smogging a car with a JDM pump. so i can't be sure they offer enough air dilution for marginal setups.

they are good for upgraded turbos for more clearance, like if you have a hybrid or stocker with an aftermarket TID but never actually got to test one to see how they perform in the strict smog states.

the one we did passed the CA test. it was on a completely stock car though, so you're probably right, if it had a small port or something, it might get marginal
