Quick question... on a normal Turbo II is there any kind of pressure reducer before the oil goes into the turbo?

I feel like my turbo's are blowing oil seals because I'm just hosing the oil directly into the turbo. Should I have something to reduce oil pressure before going into a stock turbo?
