s4 tranny will work in s5 right?

My friend is telling me that this will not work, although i believe ive read on this board that it will fit, so i just wanted to verify from somebody who Actually knows if this will work or not..

Yes. Nothing needs to be changed. The mounts and wiring are all the same.
The only difference is the shifter thread and the overdrive gear ration.

near the bottom it says that the turbo s5 trannys are diffcult to install in other models. so is mazdatrix wrong?

I have installed a S4 N/A tranny on my S5 N/A with no problem. Only thing was needed was the S4 crossmember.

Yes, Just use the same crossmember that came with the tranny.
