Hows it goin everyone? i just got a s4 tranny and im going to replace my s5 tranny which is stuck in 3rd gear with it. i know there are a few things that have to be changed over to s4 if i remeber right its the flywheel and clutch, but can i use my s5 drive shaft ? make a long story short what all will i need to make this 100% complete job?


also if anyone has the parts that are needed let me know ill buy them off you if its close enough to ohio ill drive or shipping would be even better.

if the car is na then the trannys are directly interchangable as long as the crossmember matches the tranny, but i don't know if it works like that for the turbos

 

All you need is the trans and a cross member that matches the trans.

i have a S4 TII tranny in my S5.

i just swapped the rear shifter assembly, so i kept my stock tranny mounts...
loving the shorter fifth btw!
