S4 tranny in S5?

S4 tranny in S5?

Well were going to drop the tranny to see if we can going to it fixed.. Well if we can't get it goiing were going to swap out the tranny...

The only tranny we have found localy was a S4 from a 86. What would do to be changed to get it going? I know flywhell.. what else.. drive shaft? diff?

no need to change flywheel if both transmissions are NA
(flywheel must match engine series)

S4 tranny should work as long as u will get it with complete mount and cross-member

Will I need use a S5 clutch or do I need use a S4? Or it doesn't matter?
