S4 TII still having problems (vid inside)
car is a 1987 TII. pretty much whenever It starts even if it holds an idle it will die as soon as I give it any throttle after a couple seconds. after it dies there is a hissing noise around the fuel filter but no fuel is leaking.
mods: replaced
palsation damper
3" turboback
dual pulley
rx7.com fuel pump
emisions removed exept twin scroll
throttle body mod
engine bay http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_YYkRMna94
rear http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbbkp9YNzr0
any idea's?

starts too consistantly to be backwards fuel lines. is your fuel potentiometer plugged in? has it been adjusted and possibly broken? (its located next to the boost sensor behind the maf sensor). is the maf sensor plugged in correctly?

wired the fuel pump the same as the factory one... made sure not to get the lines mixed up, and the fuel filter is correct. i'll check the lines over again and cross reference w/ my other rx7.

I actually tried this a couple min. after reading your post and found out that the first rotor injector had been wired incorrectly by the previous owner (wired neg to positive), and the injector caps on the secondary injectors were toast. just ordered some new pintle caps and rewired two of the injectors that were in bad shape so hopefully it'll be running within a couple of days...
thx
