S4 - TII Gurus - Strange rev issue

We just got the new S4 TII engine with an S5 turbo running

we solved the bouncing idle with a new a TPS

however, we are expirencing a problem where when we get into boost, above 5k the revs will "Stick" at the RPM.

we are really scratching our heads over this one.

Any ideas?

Also having problems with idling.

it is idling around 900 and will drop to 650 and come back up - is this a grounding issue, fuel, tps?

when you first touch the throttle, it seems like it hesitates. It is quite rough, and it will buck.

once you get past part throttle, to maybe half it smoothes out.

Any ideas?

Check your throttle linkages and make sure they are moving freely without getting hung up on anything.

I had this and it was a vac leak. Slapped some sealant on my blockoff plates and it was done.

I think you were right about the sticking issue, it was prob the throttle cable, seems fine now.

here is a video of the idle - there is certainly a hesitation as soon as you touch the throttle, but once you get past the part throttle, it is smooth.

at first in the video, i blip the throttle and it sits at 1.5k for a little by itself, and then goes back to it's "idle" if that is what we shal call it.

We thinking Vac leak still?
