car tries to stall out in first from a standstill
when i first start to relase the clutch and press the gas it hesitates so bad i have to feather the clutch to just keep it from stalling! any ideas, perhaps low clutch pressure? would that cause it?

That could be any number of things ranging from a clogged air filter to the Throttle Body mod...
I guess I would start with a tune up. Has it been done on your car before?
