s4 T3 to s T3 afapter plate.

So here is the deal. I have a tubular manifold that will work with the S4 turbo flange but not the S5 flange which is what my new turbo has. Aside from the lack of external wastegate I should be able to produce some decent HP numbers from the T3 GT35 I've got on the shelf. So anyway, Does anyone know who makes an adapter that would work? I see t3 to t3's on eBay, but none of them have that stupid offset bolt. Alternatively i could fab up an adapter or just weld on a flange myself. but honestly I just don't have the time right now.

I haven't seen any adapter to go from the S4 turbo flange (or S5 for that matter) to any standard size (T3, T4, etc...). It's a unique design Mazda used, so chances are slim you'd find someone making that kind of adapter. It would be a very limited market.

Custom fab work or a T3 manifold may be the only options unless someone on the forum is making the piece you're looking for.

Really? How hard could it be though? I mean, I don't think a T4 flange is THAT far off from an S5 flange... so with a little fabrication, couldn't one get both a T4 flange and S5 flange and weld them together to make some sort of adapter?

I'll just make it and then sell it. I'm big on universal stuff anyway. ex. I'm making a universal diff input so if you absolutely have to run the NA diff you can with the tII driveshaft you can. In my experience the NA diff can stand about 375 before your running on borrowed time.

^^ But more then likely that n/a diff is open diff which is no good, if you plan on putting the power to the ground. Why be cheap and not get a TII diff and axles. Bolts right up...

Edit: I guess it would be OK, on normal driving...

Take measurments of the stock flange, use solidworks or any other CAD program a CNC machine will understand, find a t4 flange file (ive seen them before) mate em and take the file to a cnc shop to have it milled out, its what i would try to do

why would you want to taper down to the S5 flange then up to a T4, just get the correct manifold.. the stock manifold is on the restrictive side even with the stock turbo.

I have a 60-1 BB p-trim turbo with the s4 hotside that I run on my old school RE-Amemiya manifold. But down the line I want to build a T3 GT35 hybrid. That's how the idea came about anyway. As for the diff adapter. That's just for the guys that can't afford the full TII swap . ex. You bought the engine and trans, but can't afford the diff and stubs yet. Basically a temporary solution until you can save up some money.
