S4 T2 Loss of power, ideas?

2 nights ago on the way home from work, my T2 started loosing power while cruising at a steady speed. I had to use 4th gear to keep it moving faster than 40mph, and managed to make it home. When I got back to the house, it sounded like it was running on one rotor

So, I did a ghetto compression check and the rear rotor sounded weaker than the front. The plugs looked horribly covered in carbon, more than likely from all the low speed driving back and forth to work. So I tried a new set of plugs, but there was no change. Getting good spark all the way around.

I got my compression tester out and I got 100psi on the front and 15psi on the rear. I looked in the leading plug holes and none of the apex seals are cracked or missing, no dents/gouges in the rotors, just a lot of carbon buildup on them.

To sum it up: Even pulses from the rear rotor, low compression, no broken parts.

Is it possible that carbon build up has stuck a seal causing the compression to be low?

if its got ALOT, and again i say ALOT, of carbon it could be a stuck seal. Use the oil in the lower spark plug holes trick and see if that helps. other than that i would say a colaped seal spring. which would mean you might need a rebuild, which would suck. best of luck to ya.

Update: Tried the ATF trick, but there is still no compression. I took it down the road and back and it blew off the oil fill tube PCV hose!

So, I'm thinking since it is pressurizing the "crankcase" then it must of broken 1 or more side seals.

Any thoughts?
