I need to know if I can convert an s4 headlight wiring harness into an s5. By examination the wiring color and placement match for the most part. The only difference seems to be that the second wire from the top right is brown with a black stripe on the s5. On the s4 its white with a green stripe. Also the s4 has a blue with yellow stripe wire in the third spot from the top left side, whereas the s5 has no wire. Will it work.

 

If its like most of the rest of the switches, you will have to re-pin the connector. You'll have to wait for one of the electrical gurus to post about which ones.

 

Thats what I was hoping but I heard MAZDA likes to switch **** up between the s4 and s5, so although it looks the same it might be different. Thanx, I'll wait for a guru.
