ok i think im in way over my head now, to start off i have a complete 88 gxl, just pulled the engine and im ready to put the new one in.
I bought my donor engine from a shop last summer, they had ordered a few engines from malaysia all with around 30k on them. Well it turns out my engine is an s5. Not to worry i thought cause he gave me an s5 intake, or most of one. He left out the lower part, so i only have the dynamic chamber and the upper intake.
I'm just really confused about what to do now, is it possible to use the s4 lower intake with the s5? Should i get my hands on the s5 lower? Im also not sure if other things are different, do i need an s5 flywheel??
any suggestions would help how would you go about the situation...cause im about to sell the engine and get a rebuilt s4
