Why would you want a scoop that doesn't match the hood's colour? Looks ugly...

Hmm kind of a same thought.

Is the FC3S CF hood 2 piece like the regular hoods or is it all one piece?

It looks pretty good to me and there's several other pics of it posted on the clubfc3s.com forum. Some people will like it, and others won't.

It is a decorative item and I don't recall EVER hearing anyone make any claims that it would be any kind of performance enhancement, lol. The quality of the product looks good to me so at least give them some credit!

One piece (T2 scoops are molded into the hoods).

Okay, they did a great job to make a quality product that looks ugly.

Seriously, it doesn't matter how well it's made, it'll still look totally out of place, particularly on a light-coloured car but even on a dark car. Same reason I wouldn't bolt a well-made aliminium wing to the back of my car. Mind you I think those who like those wings will probably like this too...

It may be good work but as others have said, out of place. If I were to ever spend the money on carbon fiber, it would be entirely made of carbon fiber, have a definite purpose such as being much lighter than an existing part, only for racing, and probably still have a coat of paint on it. But if people like form over function, who am I to argue with it?

That's more like it! lol At least it appears to be a quality product, now whether or not some like it or not, that's all in one's own opinion. But at least it's still another person/company making something for our cars!

You should paint the whole car to match the hood scoop.
