S4 & S5 TurboII starter the same?

I thought the flywheel was different, but everyone SEEMS to have the same part numbers for the starter.

Are the S4 & S5 TurboII starters the same, and interchangable?

Theyre interchangeable, yes. ALso, AT starters are same as turbo II starters for all years.

really? that's interesting.

I found a solenoid that'll work fine supposedly.. it's a generic part at Autozone, the computer said it's interchangable.

So an auto starter and a TII starter are the same? No wonder Jumpy Roo had such a hard time fitting the starter I sent him to his car!!
