Question S4 and S5 shifter lever thread size and pitch...

Hey all I wanted to know the size and thread pitch of both levers. Thanks.

I searched a little but I just found threads about aftermarket shift **** and if they would fit or not. meh.

If your referring to the thread at the top where the **** fits...On my S5 it is a 10mm x 1.25 pitch

Don't know if the S4 is the same or not.

S4 and S5 are differenty yes. I ahve the S4 leverrs here and I have an S5 available but not right now. Thanks for the info. I will just take my S4 lever to the hardware store and try all the nuts I can.

You still may not find the right nut to fit it, the tap&die set that I have has 10mm 1.0 pitch and 1.5 pitch but not 1.25 pitch. I determined the correct pitch using a thread pitch gauge.

This is the second 'rare' thread that I have found on the S5, the other is the TPS adjustment screw, it is finer then any available bolts that I have seen. I went looking when I dropped the small lock nut, couldn't find it for days, eventually fished it off the intake manifold with a magnet....that was lucky!

S4 shifter lever has threads of M12 and thread pitch of 1.5
