are they the same? i wanna switch out my broken switch for another one. i can roll the passenger window down with the driver's side.

 

They are interchangeable, but not the same.


S4 switches have higher current capacity than the S5 switches. You can disassemble them, clean the contacts and reassemble.

S5 are disposable.
