s4->s5 parking lights

s4->s5 parking lights

i changed my s4 bumper out for an s5 one, but never hooked up the parking lights because the back of the s4 ones have three wires and the s5 ones only have two. if anyone can help me out i'd appreciate it... and yes i've searched.

Should have been three wires... one ground... one constant for parking.. then another for the blinker...

they should have the exact same plug. If not, something happened in its lifetime.

on the s4 there's a green wire, red, and ground. the s5 has two black wires... one power and one ground. when i take out the s4 bulb there are two round metal connection things and the s5 bulb only has one. they both look factory and untampered with to me.

ah, then you might possibly have a J-spec one. If I am correct, there is no parking light in that housing. It was not needed since JDM FC's had lights in the FTP's, so the only purpose of those would be as a turn signal. Would someone care to clarify this?

oh yeah, i forgot they were j-spec. does anyone know which wire is the turn signal on the s4?
