S4, S5 N/A wire harness differences ???
S4, S5 N/A wire harness differences ???
I tried searching this, but all I could find was info about Turbo swaps harness'.
So, I have a 86 N/A that had an electrical fire, and burnt up a secion of the wire harness. Sooo, I got a free harness off a friend, but he couldnt remember if it was an S4 or a S5 harness.
How can I tell which harness I have?
Thanks!

There will be a plug for the electrical MOP on a S5 harness and the AFM plug will be different
Those are the easist to see, the rest are things like injectors plugs, (round/oval on S5) or alt plugs and a bunch of others.

I have a harness from an `86 GXL in a box in my garage. Its not in perfect shape but was never a fire casualty. PM me if interested we`ll figure something out.

Now remember there are two different non turbo US spec S4 engine harnesses, the N326 and N327.
The n326 harness and ECU used a resistor pack on the passengers shock tower, while the N327 did not.
