just wanted to know i see the difference between dot apporved housing and ebay diamond cut housing, but what about these ebay ones that are projector style http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/86-91...75006456QQrdZ1
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/86-91...74388469QQrdZ1
and looks like their are smoked ones of the diamond cut
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SMOKE...75681615QQrdZ1
i had the ebay diamond cut ones on my 87 and they sucked at night driving with street lights, but on the back roads they were great but just for some reason with street lights just killed the ability to shine the road.

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
The diamond cut 200 mm lamps seem to generally suck, but I have not compared the smoked or "projector" style diamond cuts.
It appears that the projector style is nothing more than a magnifiying glass in front of the light source so I can't imagine it would be any good for anything but low beams and even then questionable.
If you buy a pair you can send them to me to test and I can show the differences.
