The only difference is with or without sunroof.

A S5 headliner will not fit a S4 car. The S5 headliner is smaller than the S4 version due to the mouse belts.

Conversely the S4 headliner will be too big for a S5 car with mouse belts.

The only black headliner available for a S4 was found in the 10thAE.

It would probably much easier just to recover your existing S4 headliner black. Headliner material is available at many upholstry shops.

Side to side.

About 3/4 of an inch on each side.

Front to rear is exactly the same.

There is enough difference that most people would be unhappy.

I have an all black interior conversion from what I pieced together from a guy that was parting out his 10th AE and spare S5 trim from various forum members.

There are many differences. The headliner is one. The rear carpet you need from a 10th AE. The a-pillars. The seatbelts and the trim associated with them (and the rest of the seatbelt assembly.) Upper and lower trim above the rear wheel wells. 10th AE dash of course. Front carpet is a bit different but you can still use an S5 front carpet and nobody would really know. One of the rear strut carpets is different because the S5 had the rear cargo light mounted on the side and not on the hatch shocks.

Thats all that I can think off right now. Pretty sure that covers it.
