s4 to s5 engine conversion...

so long story short... 87 T2 (my car) engine blew... dont have time nor place to do rebuild and money is kinda tight right now... found a S5 engine from JDMtigerjapanese.com its a decent price and i can afford it.. but is there a lot to a s4 to s5 engine swap or...?? help please. i want my car to have a beating heart again!

You can put the S4 accessories on the S5 keg and install it that way. I tried doing the full swap and it was a major headache that you won't want to deal with.

i appreciate the help but all im seeing it N/A to Turbo... im going turbo to turbo just newer engine... not seeing anything on that... unless im just that tired that im not picking up something....

alright so im gonna kinda thread jack a little bit .. but say i got a jdm s4 t2 with tranny ... would a jdm harness work even though i have lhd?

No, the JDM harness goes in the trash (or you can steal all the connectors for wiring uses some other day), and you re-use the NA emissions harness. This is all explained in the links I already provided.

2g3n7, you sand baggin SOB lol but that is actually a good question, im curious as well...

secondly, does anyone know of a decent JDM engine company?? i dont have enough money or time to rebuild mine... and im trying to find a engine through an import place, found one through TigerJDMauto but later found out that they are full of ****! and rip people off. (hence y i started this thread, they had a S5 engine for 1110$ shipped) always to good to be true....

If you buy any engine online and not in person just factor in a rebuild They don't care what they send you because how will you return it? or even put up a fight they already have your money

ya man... ive kinda gave up on trying to find a engine.. gonna sack up and just rebuild mine... im terrified to do it, but i need to do it and i think it will be a hundred times better in the long run.
