s4 na to s5 t2 swap question.

I will be trying to pick up an s5 t2 swap in a few weeks to go in my s4 na chassis hopefully. what wiring do I need to do to make the s5 t2 ecu work in my s4 na chassis? or does it plug right in? that's the only thing Im not really sure about.

Cross reference the wiring diagrams with the chassis plug between te s5 t2 motor and the s4 n/a chassis plug

It's not anywhere close to plug and play as there are many, many differences between the wiring harness from both series.

well I know the only thing engine wise that runs in to the chassis harness is the crank angle sensor wires and the coil wires. and the ecu power sours I guess. the rest will b on my t2 wireing harness.

Use the advanced search feature and you'll find documentation of this very same type of swap.

or would it be easier to just use the s4 t2 ecu, harness, and sensors? are they tuned close enough that I can use the s4 t2 ecu on the s5 t2 engine?

Yes, you can use the S5 keg and place all of the S4 sensors on it but you'll have to switch the front cover so you can use the S4 OMP.
